What We Do
We develop activities and projects that are aimed at bringing the community closer together, and trying to be different from the traditional idea of charities where one group of people do the helping and the other group receives the help. The volunteers at Creating Chaos all have many and varied challenges in their lives, but overcome those to support others that are experiencing a difficult time, and subsequently encourage them to help us or others in return.
Our Volunteer programme has a range of different opportunities for our volunteers here at Creating Chaos to develop social, work and life skills, along with being helpful.
Final Straw Foundation- We have teamed up with this project in hope to help Havant become cleaner, our group of volunteers help to litter pick throughout the Havant area.
One Church - This project helps families who need some support with food, and other household provisions. Our volunteers here at Creating Chaos go to Emsworth every Thursday morning, and work either in the food bank, or making hamper provisions, in the warm space.
Community Art (via Community Rail/South Western Railway) - This project allows a small group of our volunteers to express themselves, through their artwork, all whilst promoting events across the stations on the South Western Railway line. These are displayed at Havant Train Station, and are reguarly updated.
Pallant Soup Kitchen- This project allows our volunteers our volunteers at the Pallant, every Wednesday, to serve the soup to vulnerable members of the community, who attend each week.
As well as our amazing Volunteer programme we also run person-centred sessions which end up being a part of a weekly programme, for individuals who attend Creating Chaos. Some of the sessions we offer are:
Life Skills - Upcycling
Random Acts of Kindness - Make-To-Sell (Monday’s)
Helping the Homeless - Make-To-Sell (Friday’s)
Newsletter - Chaos PA’s
Soup Making - Swimming
